Join us for the INAUGURALÂ International Speaker Series
With the continued success and support of the speaker series that is largely geared towards a North American audience and on North American times we heard from many of you things like
- "I would attend more if they were at a time that was evening in the EU."
- "I want to hear more from speakers outside of the US on how they approach their work"
- "I would love to discover places and ways of thinking that are far beyond what I could imagine or have really heard"
- "I love the speakers that you have selected, especially the ones I have not heard of before your series"
- "I have watched all of the talks and still find myself wanting a little more at certain times of year"
So with this in mind! We have officially launched an International Speaker Series!Â
Having an additional speaker series opens up an entirely different pool of extremely well regarded and accomplished speakers.Â
This International Speaker Series gives you the opportunity to gain deep insight into how professional photographers create unique work, how they bring their images to life through meaning and personal expression, and how they found authenticity through their creative journeys.Â
Join for what is guaranteed to be an amazing inaugural International Speaker Series where you will hear from 4 speakers over the course of a month, each talking about how they confidently express themselves through an authentic connection with the landscapes they photograph. At just $22 per speaker or $77 for the whole series, this represents incredible value to access presentations from these photographers â including lifetime access to recordings, so you donât have to be there live!
We will learn about unique creative processes, personal growth through vulnerability, and why finding your own creative voice is the most powerful step you can take towards becoming a better photographer.Â
- We start the series with renowned Scottish photographer Colin Priorâs âFinding Your Own Voiceâ. Colin will kick us off by talking about his grounded approach to creating meaningful photography. (LIVE March 16th at 11:00 am PT / 19:00 pm GMT)
- Wendy Bagnall joins as the next speaker to discuss âAuthenticity and Vulnerability - A Path to Finding Personal Creativity in Photographyâ. (LIVE March 23rd at 11:00 am PT / 19:00 pm GMT)
- Next up is Alister Benn, a returning NPC speaker, who will enlighten us on âThe Creative Paradigm - The âYouâ in Photographyâ, his deeply personal approach to creativity. (LIVE March 29th at 11:00 am PT / 19:00 pm GMT)
- Lastly, Paul Sanders joins to talk about âThe Soul of the Creatorâ, his unique insights for combining mindfulness and photography. (LIVE April 6th at 11:00 am PT / 19:00 pm GMT)
This promises to be a thought provoking speaker series from photographers who have honed their craft through years of hard work.Â
Each session will be approximately 60-90 minutes in length, plus additional time for questions.
Registration for the series comes with the opportunity to ask questions live, rewatch the sessions as much as you want for as long as you want, and even download for offline viewing. They are all recorded so no need to be there live! You will have permanent access to the recordings through My Library, YouTube or Dropbox file download.
Are you an annual or monthly member? Youâll gain access to all these sessions the day after theyâre streamed live!
Nature Photography Classes offer a unique opportunity to hear from and interact with people that rarely speak with audiences and are considered some of the best photography educators in the world. Â
5% of all registration fees will be donated to the environmental cause or organization of the speakers choosing. Another great opportunity to give back!
The sessions will be hosted by Murray Livingston, International Speaker Series moderator for Nature Photography Classes.Â

Paul Sanders teaches "The Soul of the Creator"

Paul Sanders
The Soul of the creator is the most important part of any photograph, but so often it is missing as we search for external validation and reward. The importance of the artist's soul is second only to the soul of the subject you are photographing. This presentation will shine a light on the process of collaboration with your subject, the expression of gratitude and an acknowledgement of the wonder in the ordinary lives of us, the photographers, that we ignore or judge as not good enough.
Bio:Â
Paul Sanders is a UK based photographer specialising in a mindful approach to photography. His background is in new photography having previously worked for Reuters and The Times of London. He achieved his ambition to become Picture Editor of The Times before finding his life falling apart due to stress. Paul used photography to help with his recovery from a breakdown and mental illness. He is a strong advocate for the use of photography to help people reconnect with the world.
