Through these local adjustments you can bring out dimensionality, help guide focus, assist in how we see the natural environment, enhance the tactile interaction with our images, and guide the eye where we want it to go.

• Helping to guide the eye with blur or getting an object to pop.
• Increase or decrease sharpness with haze or details.
